Privacy policy

At The AI Academy (UnicornIA, S.R.L.) we take care of the personal data you share with us. This policy explains what data we collect on this website, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Law No. 172-13 on the protection of personal data of the Dominican Republic.

What data we collect

Only what you enter in our forms:

• Masterclass registration, enrollment request and contact: full name, WhatsApp number, email address and, if you add it, your message.
• Business form: in addition to the above, company name, industry and number of people.
• Newsletter: your email address.

We also automatically record technical data about your visit (pages viewed, device type and browser) through the measurement tools described below.

What we use it for

• To answer your request and follow up by WhatsApp or email.
• To confirm your masterclass registration and send you the access link.
• To guide you through the admission process for our programs.
• To send you news and new cohorts, if you subscribed to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand how the website is used in order to improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Who we share it with

• With Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE), when you apply to enroll in a university-endorsed program, because admission and payment are handled through the university.
• With providers that help us operate the website (web hosting, email delivery and the spreadsheets where requests are recorded), who may only use it for that purpose.

Cookies and measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel to measure visits and the effectiveness of our campaigns. These tools may use cookies. You can block or delete them in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

For as long as it is needed to handle your request and maintain our relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction, update or deletion of your data at any time, and object to its use for communication purposes. Write to us at info@theaiacademy.do.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorized access.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date.
